The use of sensors and cameras has increased on a large scale to assist the driver in the car. Questions are also being raised about the privacy and security of data generated from such devices. Last May, the country banned employees of some Chinese government offices from parking inside government premises due to security concerns over car cameras. Tesla later announced the establishment of a site in China to store data locally.
